DESCRIPTION

A practical course for designing steel structure and learning it’s concept and applying the Egyptian steel code (ASD & LRFD)

OBJECTIVES:

1.  Ability to layout the suitable statical system
2. Ability to draw technical (Architectural, Structural) drawings
3. Ability to assign loads on the structure and get out the straining actions
4. Design sections and connections according to ASD & LRFD
5. Prepare technical symbols and shop drawings
6. Produce quantity surveying for steel
7. Steps of building executing in site.

TRAINING STRUCTURE:

Steel Design course 16 class 48 hour

PREREQUISITES:

• Basic knowledge and skills about using computers.
• Civil engineering background is recommended

Certificates:

• Certificate from CAD MASTERS

 

COURSE GRADING:

• Attendance 40%
• Assignments 60%

To pass the course and receive both Autodesk certificate & CAD MASTERS certificate you should:

• Attend at least 80% of course hours
• Score more than 70% as a total score
